Since geirush sepharad, his/my family have been in Israel- 500 years! He "intermarried" though, I follow Ashkenazi minhag but with Sephardic twists. I eat rice on Pesach and he always gave us 'Purim leek' (is that how you spell it?) instead of Chanukkah gelt. Sorry for the rant. Interesting blog. I'll blogroll you.
